Lead Full Stack Engineer - Users & Auth (Ingeniero/a Lead Full Stack - Usuarios y Autenticación) - Hybrid
Clara | 📍 Latin America
Ready to accelerate your career? Clara is the fastest-growing company in Latin America. We've built the leading solution for companies to make and manage all their payments. We already help over 20,000 large and growing businesses operate with agility and financial clarity through locally issued corporate cards, bill pay, financing, and a powerful B2B platform built for scale. Clara is backed by some of the most successful investors in the world, including top regional VCs like monashees, Kaszek, and Canary, and leading global funds like Notable Capital, Coatue, DST Global Partners, ICONIQ Growth, General Catalyst, Citi Ventures, SV Angel, Citius, Endeavor Catalyst, and Goldman Sachs - in addition to dozens of angel investors and local family offices. We’re building the financial infrastructure that powers high-performing organizations across the region. We invite you to join us if you want to be part of a fast-paced environment that will accelerate your career and support you to do some of the best work of your life alongside a passionate and committed team distributed across the Americas. Lead Full Stack Engineer — Users & Auth We're looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to own the systems that define how users exist and move within Clara's platform — authentication, authorization, identity, and access control. This is one of those roles where the work is invisible when it's done right and critical when it's not. The scope is end-to-end: designing auth flows, managing the user lifecycle, integrating Auth0 with Clara's platform, and making sure the frontend and backend sides of identity speak the same language. Security isn't a checklist here — it's a first-class concern baked into how we build. We move fast and trust our engineers to own outcomes end-to-end. That means autonomy to make decisions, proactivity to surface problems before they become blockers, and the attitude to push initiatives across the finish line without waiting to be told what to do. Your responsibilities will include: Owning auth end-to-end: architecture, implementation, and Auth0 integration across frontend and backend Leading a multidisciplinary team — sprint planning, standups, retros Elevating the team through pairing, mentorship, and sharing what you know Setting and holding the quality bar — through code reviews, design reviews, and your own work Reviewing product specs from the technical lens — flagging feasibility gaps and spotting where AI tooling can close work that would otherwise take months Who you are 5+ years of software engineering experience with solid execution in production environments 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing authentication and authorization with Auth0 or comparable identity platforms Strong in Java and Spring on the backend, with solid frontend experience — React preferred Solid understanding of security best practices for web applications and secure software design in distributed architectures A technical product mindset grounded in security — you know how to balance velocity with the constraints of owning critical systems High autonomy, proactivity, and ownership mindset. You don't wait for direction — you spot what needs to happen and drive it A genuine pull toward AI. You don't need to be an expert, but you're actively experimenting with AI tools in your day-to-day work, keep up with where the space is going, and are eager to apply it to how we build. At Clara, AI is part of how we work, not a side topic English proficiency, with the ability to lead technical discussions across geographies We've kept this list short on purpose — these are the things that actually matter. If you check most of these and the rest you'd close with curiosity and the right tools, we want to hear from you. Why join Clara At Clara, you’ll have the autonomy, speed, and support to make meaningful impact — not just on your team, but on how organizations are run across Latin America. Who we are We’re the leading B2B fintech for spend management in Latin America. Certified as one of the world's fastest-growing companies, a Great Place to Work , and a LinkedIn Top Startup . Passionate about making Latin America more prosperous and competitive. Constantly innovating to build financial infrastructure that enables each of our customers to thrive. Product-led, high-talent-density culture — designed for builders who raise the bar. Proud of our open, inclusive, and values-driven environment. What we believe in #Clarity. We say things clearly, directly, and proactively. #Simplicity. We reduce noise to focus on what really matters. #Ownership. We take responsibility and never wait to be told. #Pride. We build products and experiences we’re proud of. #Always Be Changing (ABC). We grow through feedback, risk-taking, and action. #Inclusivity. Every voice counts. Everyone contributes to our mission. What we offer Competitive salary and stock options ( ESOP ) from day one Multicultural team with daily exposure to Portuguese, Spanish, and English (our corporate language) Annual learning budget and internal accelerated development paths High-ownership environment: we move fast, learn fast, and raise the bar — together Smart, ambitious teammates — low ego, high impact Flexible vacation and hybrid work model focused on results If you’re ready for growth, ownership, and impact — apply now and help us redefine B2B finance in Latin America. Clara’s Hybrid Policy Claridians in a hybrid mode split their time between working from the office, talking to or visiting customers, or working from home. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for each individual and team. We don't enforce a minimum number of days for most roles, but you're expected to spend time at the office organically, and be at the office most days during your ramp-up or when required by your leader.

Sezzle | 📍 Mexico, Remote
Job Title: Solutions Engineer About Sezzle: With a mission to financially empower the next generation, Sezzle is revolutionizing the shopping experience beyond payments, blending cutting-edge tech with seamless, interest-free installment plans that make shopping smarter and more accessible. We’re not just transforming payments; we’re redefining how people discover, interact with, and purchase the things they love while driving real impact on merchant sales through increased conversions and higher order values. As we continue to shape the future of fintech and retail, we’re building an innovative, dynamic team passionate about creating more than just a transaction but a truly unique shopping journey. If you’re excited about pushing boundaries in tech and delivering a game-changing experience for consumers and merchants alike, come join us at Sezzle and help create the future of shopping! About the Role: We are seeking a talented and motivated Solutions Engineer who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement. As a Solutions Engineer, you are the technical owner of the merchant relationship from first sales conversation through live integration and beyond. You will focus on our enterprise and strategic merchants: the national retailers and high-volume brands running custom, hand-built integrations across web, mobile app, and in-store. These are our most complex merchants and our largest revenue drivers, and they do not come with an off-the-shelf plugin. You will partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to scope what a merchant needs, design the integration that gets them there, and stay with them once they are live. You own the technical side of pre-sales: demos, architecture discussions, RFP responses, and solution proposals. When a merchant needs something custom, you define the requirement, shape the solution with our engineering team, and drive it to launch. This is a customer-facing engineering role. You will spend as much time on calls with merchant developers as you will in documentation and test environments, and you need to be credible in both rooms. This role combines technical expertise and sales acumen to support sales teams. They work closely with the sales team and clients, understanding customer needs and translating them into effective, tailored solutions. Acting as a bridge between technical and business functions, a Solutions Engineer not only helps demonstrate and implement the product’s capabilities but also communicates complex technical details in a way that resonates with clients. Their role requires both the ability to engage with customers directly and the technical know-how to ensure the product meets client requirements effectively. What You'll Do: Own technical discovery for prospective merchants: understand their stack, their checkout flow, and their constraints, then map them to the right Sezzle integration path Lead product demos and technical presentations for merchant engineering and business stakeholders Design integration solutions across our API, SDKs, and platform plugins (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, WooCommerce, Wix, and custom builds) Write technical proposals and complete RFP and security questionnaire responses Support merchant mobile app integrations: SDK implementation, in-app checkout, and native versus webview handoff Validate integrations in sandbox and in production before launch, including checkout flow, widget and messaging placement, redirect and handoff behavior, and settlement Troubleshoot live integration issues alongside Support and Engineering, and own the technical narrative back to the merchant Translate recurring merchant needs into product feedback, and push for the fixes that unblock revenue Build and maintain integration documentation, runbooks, and internal enablement so the team scales without you in every call Act as the trusted technical advisor for your merchants after launch, spotting optimization opportunities they haven't asked for yet What We Look For: 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role: solutions engineering, sales engineering, implementation, solutions architecture, or technical account management Experience with mobile SDK integrations on iOS and Android, including the ability to guide merchant mobile developers through implementation and debug what breaks Experience supporting enterprise merchants through complex, multi-stakeholder integrations with custom-built commerce stacks Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and reading API documentation critically Working knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript Familiarity with at least one major e-commerce platform (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, WooCommerce, Wix) and how payment methods integrate into it Understanding of e-commerce workflows: cart, checkout, payment authorization and capture, refunds, shipping, and product management Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences, and business context clearly to engineers Strong written communication. This is a fully remote role based anywhere in the U.S. What success looks like Participate in and lead the entire biosignal-based algorithm development lifecycle for medical devices including specifications and requirements gathering, data curation and labeling, development, failure-analysis, production, maintenance, and documentation. Select, implement, and develop the most appropriate method for each problem, knowing when to apply deep learning techniques and when other methods are more effective. Enhance our internal deep learning and machine learning tools to boost team efficiency, introduce new model architectures and algorithmic techniques, and refine the codebase to encourage reusability where needed to enable rapid experimentation. Spread and improve our best practices to ensure algorithm implementations are user-friendly, well-documented, and thoroughly tested, including unit tests, comprehensive documentation, CI, and non-regression testing. Present results to key stakeholders and assist them in utilizing algorithms for client engagement. Support the client-facing projects to understand and shape the impact Beacon algorithms have for our customers, both for existing deployed algorithms, and future algorithm development. What you will bring You have more than 5 years of industry experience in machine learning and deep learning, particularly in health sciences or other regulated fields, with a proven track record of bringing algorithms into production. You are experienced with digital signal processing (DSP) and statistics and care about using the right tool for the job, which in many cases might not be machine learning or deep learning. You are proficient in using PyTorch (preferred) or other deep learning frameworks for training, developing, and deploying deep learning models. You are proficient with latest Deep Learning advances (Transformer/ViT, large scale modeling, large model training, ...) You follow and spread best practices in software and ML engineering, including testing, version control, code reviews, documentation, Dockerization, CI/CD, and experiment tracking. You are experienced with biosignals, medical imaging data, or large time-series datasets, or are enthusiastic about learning more in the domain. You thrive in a team environment, recognizing that collaboration, open communication, and continuous feedback are essential for collective success. You are able to distill, discuss, and present complex technical topics in a way that is appropriate for the audience at hand, both internally and externally. You are excited to participate in the entire algorithm development lifecycle, which spans scoping, data wrangling, algorithm development/experimentation, formal validation, quality/regulatory documentation, production deployment, and working with clients who might benefit from these algorithms. The US-based salary range for this role is $170,000 – $190,000. Salary ranges are determined using current market compensation data for this role and adjusted based on experience, skills, and location. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which includes equity, PTO and other benefits. At Beacon, we've found that cultural and scientific impact is driven most by those that lead by example. As such, we're always seeking new contributors whose work demonstrates an avid curiosity, a bias towards simplicity, an eye for composability, a self-service mindset, and - most of all - a deep empathy towards colleagues, stakeholders, users, and patients. We believe a diverse team builds more robust systems and achieves higher impact. #LI-Remote
